Petrosyan Law Group is a Glendale law firm with one office, at 300 W Glenoaks Blvd. The areas served from there cover much of Los Angeles County, plus Simi Valley just across the line in Ventura County. Which Los Angeles County areas are served?

As a law firm serving Los Angeles County from its northern edge, the firm gives eight cities their own pages: Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, Los Angeles, North Hollywood, Van Nuys, Simi Valley and Pomona. Glendale is home, so it sits at the center of the areas served. Burbank and Pasadena, meanwhile, are short drives along the 134. North Hollywood and Van Nuys lie across the San Fernando Valley, while Pomona sits at the county’s eastern edge.

Workers’ compensation in each area served

A work-injury claim, by contrast, runs through the state workers’ compensation system. When a dispute needs a judge, it goes to a district office of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. How distance works for each kind of case

In practice, distance from the office rarely changes a case. For example, immigration filings are the same wherever you live. What changes with your city is which USCIS field office or immigration court handles your case. Personal injury claims, by contrast, run through the California superior court for the county where the injury happened. Likewise, workers’ compensation claims go to the Appeals Board district office that serves your area.
