How long does a marriage green card take?
For a spouse of a U.S. citizen filing inside the United States, adjustment of status commonly runs about 12 to 18 months from filing to the interview. Consular processing abroad usually takes longer. Your own timeline depends on the service center and your history.

What does an injury claim cost to bring?

Usually not. Most California employees are covered by workers' compensation regardless of who was at fault, and an employer may not lawfully retaliate against you for filing a claim.
If you believe you have been penalized for filing, say so at the consultation — that is a separate matter with its own remedy.
