Fee disclosures

The first consultation is free. After that, each practice line has its own fee model, set out in a written agreement before any work begins.

• Immigration A flat fee for the defined matter, agreed in writing before work begins. USCIS or the relevant agency sets government filing fees, and you pay them separately.
• Personal injury A 33% contingency fee. No attorney’s fee is charged unless there is a recovery, but you may remain responsible for case costs and expenses, whether or not there is a recovery, as your written agreement explains. Contingency fees are not set by law and are negotiable.
• Workers’ compensation A fee approved by a workers’ compensation judge, typically around 15%, and paid out of the award. You pay nothing up front.

Where the firm practices

Ani A. Petrosyan is licensed to practice law in California (State Bar of California No. 321494) and admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California. The firm handles personal injury and workers’ compensation matters under California law.

Immigration law is federal, so the firm can represent clients before USCIS, the immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals wherever they live in the United States. Nothing on this site is an offer to represent anyone in a matter governed by the law of a state where the attorney is not licensed.
